Back to School Information 2023-2024

1. Become a member of the PTA for this school year - You can find the membership form here. 

   • **Please note that this is an annual membership that you will need to renew each academic year.**
2. Make sure you and your student are prepared with all the right school supplies and PCY gear from the Cougar Cart!  
   • 6th Grade families: be sure to purchase your 6th grade events
3. Check out the updated school map!
   • With construction underway, make sure you and your student know where to locate their classroom.
4. Volunteer! There are many wonderful ways your family can donate their time and participate at school events.

5. Complete waivers for seamless participation in programs and activities!
   • Additional waivers may be added throughout the year pending activities and programs.
6. Pencil monthly PTA Membership meetings in your calendar!
   • Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. 
7. Donate! 
   • The PCY PTA spent over $130,000 annually on our PCY students and the school community.  Approximately $200 per student is spent on classroom support, enrichment programs, and community building activities.  PCY PTA-sponsored programs include STEAM nights, PCY reads, World Fest, Kinder Orientation, Assemblies, Back to School activities, and Red Ribbon Week, to name a few.  We also supply funding for playground and PE equipment, along with supporting our PCY staff through professional development opportunities.  Our PCY community would not be the same without your generous support.  We are grateful for your donations and we look forward to seeing you at one of our events.
