PCY Choral Club

Dear PCY Choral Club Families,

My name is Mr. Josh, and I am truly excited to be leading the PCY Choral Club this year! I know I have big shoes to fill with Mrs. Lindsay Henriod’s departure, but I am honored to continue the tradition of joyful music-making at PCY.

This Fall, our students will explore a variety of fun and engaging music representing different cultures, languages, and styles. They’ll be preparing for our December performance, which promises to be a wonderful celebration of their hard work.

For those of you I haven’t met yet, I’ve included a photo so you can put a face to the name—please feel free to stop by and say hello anytime!

About Me

Music has been a part of my life since I was five years old, and I’ve continued to grow as a musician ever since. I play piano, guitar, ukulele, and drums, and I also enjoy producing music. After earning my undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and spending time in the music industry, I realized that my true passion is teaching and sharing the joy of music with younger generations. I went on to earn my Master’s in Music Education from USC and have now been teaching for six years, including two wonderful years here at PCY. I’m grateful for the opportunity to inspire and guide your children through music.

Thank you for your continued support and for sharing your children with me—I can’t wait to make music together this year. If you ever have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Texting is fine too—just be sure to include your child’s name and choir so I can respond quickly and clearly.

I’m looking forward to a fun and inspiring season with our young musicians!
