Drama Club

Drama Club is for 5th and 6th graders. Sign-ups will happen in mid-December before the Winter Break, and the class begins in Janauary after we return from Winter Break. We meet Wednesdays after school from 3:00-4:00 in the MPR. Students will learn important theater methodology while honing in on their singing, acting, and dancing skills on stage. Students will learn about and practice the audition process. They will learn to work collaboratively in theatrical stagecraft to put on a show. There are extra rehearsal times (both before and after school) that students will have to commit to if they want to be part of the show in the spring. Those schedules are determined later in the program, once the show is cast. 

There is a $100 fee for each student to participate. The program culminates in a live performance in the MPR, usually in the month of May sometime.
